Once again it has been awhile since I have posted. The big day is now here and BloodPenny is about to debut tonight. So exciting. Plus they already have a few more shows booked. So we are about to head to CIA in a couple hours. Go check out their site and listen to the music! http://www.myspace.com/BloodPenny

Found out that the BloodPenny show is going to be postponed. They aren't sure when they will perform, maybe January. They plan on doing a studio recording in december, so that's cool.

As for the GPT sites and MyCreditCardCash.com I haven't had a huge month but I did ok. Cash Crate is going to be sending me a check for $25 and so far I have had 1 more offer completed for myCreditCardCash, which had an earning of $46.80. I was getting a little nervous about last months fairy tale treasure payment, but it finally came yesterday. That made me happy. It's only $12.17, but all of this is really starting to add up.

Cash Out (Since August):
Fusion Cash $27.40
Cash Crate (Aug) $31.50
Fairy Tale Treasure $12.17
MyCreditCardCash(Sep) $159.20
Cash Crate (Oct) $25.15
MyCreditCardCash(Oct) $46.80
------------------------------
Total $302.22

Recently my husband joined a band (he's the drummer). They are now practicing 3 hours a week. Seems like everything is going pretty well for them. The bands name is BloodPenny and their first show will be November 3rd at Club NightShift in LA. I'm pretty excited about hearing them play, this will be my first time seeing my husband perform. He was in a band (Black March) back in the 80's but that was before we met.

If you are in Los Angeles and would like to see their first show. Join us at Club NightShift November 3rd. I think they will play around 10pm that night.

Here's the address:
Mr T's Bowl
(Club NightShift first
saturday of the month)
5621 1/2 FIGUEROA
Highland Park 90042

Since my husbands birthday is coming up next week I thought I'd post these two great links. They both list restaurants where you can get free meals and discounts on your birthday.

http://www.heyitsfree.net/2006/10/03/eat-free-on-your-birthday/

So far he will be getting free deserts at Buca di Beppo and Famous Daves, a free burger at Red Robbin and $5 off at Red Lobster.

I received my first check for Cash Crate tuesday. I was so excited. It was just cool to know I got this check for just entering my name and email online in a bunch of free offers. I got a check for $31.50 and it didn't cost me anything other than a few minutes of my day. I'll have to remember to post a picture of the payment so you all can see.

Another great development this week was for MyCreditCardCash. Another person signed up for a credit card which has now brought my total to $112 profit.

So, I might not be making the hundreds or thousands of dollars I see others making working with these sites, but I'm on my way, and I am happy with the progress I've made. Plus I should be getting more checks in October from Fusion Cash ($27.40), Fairy Tale Treasure ($12.17) and Cash Crate ($10).

Well its now been a month since I started all this. I haven't brought in as much as others who use these sites. But I'm working at it. It's nice to have just a few extra dollars and it is slowly adding up. I think the $30 I made on Cash Crate should be coming in the mail any day now, plus I have another $30 coming to me from Fusion Cash. I think I'll just start saving this extra cash for Christmas gifts. But on the other hand, I also need to start saving $1000 for an emergency fund. I've been reading "The Total Money Make Over" and saving $1000 is the first step. I'm not quite there yet.

A few days ago I mentioned a site where you could go to view and compare credit card offers at Best Credit Card Applications. Well today I just became an affiliate for their site (MyCreditCardCash.com). This is so cool. How this works is you sign up on their site for $1 for the 1st month. If you get 4 successful offers approved, then $1 is all you pay. Otherwise you pay $37.95 a month. This fee will be waived once 4 credit card offers have been approved. So far, one card has been accepted and I have earned $66. Only 3 more to go! I have started making flyers advertising my site, as well as, placed internet ads.

If you would like to join their site and become a member click here.

Today I decided to join Fusion Cash. I get $5 dollars for signing up with them and can cash out at $25. I'm gonna add their banner below so we can track my progress.

Today I joined squidoo. I'm hoping it will help create traffic for all the various money streams I am trying to start.

I started creating a lens which you can see here: http://www.squidoo.com/debt_free_life/

According to their site this is what a lens is:
"A lens is one person's view on a topic that matters to her. It's an easy-to-build, single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, your eBay auctions, CafePress designs, Amazon books or music, and oh so much more. That way, when someone is looking for recommended information, fast, your lens gets him started and sends him off in the right direction. Hooray for you"

Here's an update on my progress, so far I've made $23 on cash crate and have another $19 pending. So thats cool.

As for the MyCreditCardCash.com, I haven't found anyone to sign up. But I'm trying, I started making flyers with tear off tabs and have place them at a few locations. Its only been a day since they were posted. So we'll see how that goes.

I think I might need to find a secondary job that is more profitable. sigh.
oh well.

As the week goes on, I'm trying to think of ways to earn extra cash. I haven't given in to the idea of getting a second job, yet. The first thing I did was sign up on a website called cash crate. I signed up on monday (today is friday) and so far I have made $20, so thats cool. I guess they'll give me a payment for every $10 I make and submit the payment through PayPal.

The next program I signed up for is My Credit Card Cash. I'm am now an affiliate for this program. Its pretty cool. If you are looking to get a credit card. They allow you to compare various cards. They have cards for those with no credit or bad credit. Cards for those looking to earn reward points or just wanting to find a card with a lower interest rate. As you know when fighting debt, a lower interest really helps in paying off credit cards. Ok so if you want to sign up for a new card visit: Best Credit Card Apllications.

The first step I have taken is: I went to the library and picked up a few books on eliminating debt. I checked out a book called "The Total Money Makeover" by David Ramsey. I have heard a lot of recommendations for this book. Even as I checked the book out, the lady at the counter was telling me how much she loved this book. She stated that it was so easy to read and follow, plus gave great advice. So tonight I plan to start reading this book.
Todays the day I'm going to start my new blog. One with a purpose. My new focus is eliminating debt. Its amazing how much debt can be accumulated in a relatively short time. I've been reading many sites on debt relief. Now its time to practice what I've been learning.
